To change playback speeds on Choralia

(Click here to get back to Members’ Page)

For the intrepid chorister

To do this you have to install a special free music plugin for your browser (it works in Internet Explorer and Firefox, but not in Google Chrome)

Go to http://www.myriad-online.com/en/products/mmplugin.htm and at the top, just under the words “Myriad Music Plugin” there is a blue “Download” link, which takes you to a page where you can choose your operating system (Windows or Mac etc.) – just click on the one you want.

When the file has downloaded, run it (in Windows, double click on it) and the music plugin will install itself. This is a once off operation – the player will now be available whenever you need it.

Now go to the Choralia website using one of the red links below.
N.B. the speed adjustable pages are different from the regular learning track pages

If the music plugin has installed correctly you should see a greyed out music player panel at the top of the page.
Click on one of the loudspeaker symbols beside a track title, and after a short delay the player panel at the top should come to life!
When you click on the play button in that panel there is a delay of several seconds whilst the software works out how to sing the words.
To adjust the speed of the music, click and hold on the crotchet symbol and move the slider that appears, left for slower, right for faster.
